A GREAT couple of days and nights of music and nostalgia are in store when the latest annual 'March of the Mods' weekender takes place on Friday and Saturday, March 3-4.
With all money raised heading off to the Teenage Cancer Trust, the weekend clicks into gear on the Friday night - at the Stanley House venue in Audenshaw - with a night of mod music, ska, 2Tone and Trojan from DJs 2 Tone Tony, Martin the Mod and the Skafather.
There will be three live playing on stage too - the Electric Stars, the 261 Allstars (fronted by Oldham legend Tony Daly) and Standing in for Joe,
Saturday, March 4 promises a full day of activities.
A scooter ride-in and mod market will run alongside an all-day show at Stanley House, which will run from noon until late.
DJs will play throughout the day with 2 Tone Tony, the Twisted Sisters, Lee Modtober and the Skafather.
Meanwhile, on the band front, Oldham stars the Micradotts, OK Broken and Shadow Palace will be joined by Small Weller, DILE, Soldier On, Station 5, Amber and ace solo guitar/vocalist Carl Morris.
One of the Manchester 'March of the Mods' organisers, Graham Thomas, said: "Stanley House is simply a great venue.
"The Saturday will start with the scooter ride to the cemetery to pay respects to Paul 'Mouse' Melia, a hugely respected former MOTM legend who passed away last year, then it's on to the venue for 1pm.
"Mouse was a close friend to myself, and many others.
"He raised thousands of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust through March of the Mods before passing away, and we are trying to keep this excellent event going year after year."
Tickets are selling fast for the event.
Revellers can pick them up for just £10 for the full weekend of entertainment.
